Syamal Nayak Chief Executive Officer The Chief Executive Officer of the company is a Masters of Commerce (Advanced Accountancy) from Calcutta University, India, a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (USA). Following the qualification as a Chartered Accountant, he joined the Calcutta office of erstwhile Lovelock & Lewes (now PricewaterhouseCoopers), a renowned Consultancy and Chartered Accountant firm as a qualified assistant in 1981 and became a manager in 1985. In 1987, he was seconded to erstwhile Coopers & Lybrand London office as a Supervisor in the Computer Audit group. He designed and applied computer audit techniques including reviews of IT controls, computer audit software and audit test data for a wide variety of companies including British Telecom, Gateway Building Society, Banque Paribas , PFW Limited, Henlys plc., Stafford Motors and Scammell Motors. He acted as instructor and group leader in various Coopers & Lybrand in-house training courses, including the Computer Audit Specialists course. He also developed audit packages. Syamal returned to the Calcutta office of Lovelock & Lewes in 1988 to establish the Computer Audit group in India and to lead computer auditing in the firm. He became a partner of the firm in 1990. In 1995 he set up the Facility Management and Information Processing (FMIP) cell and Software Development & Implementation (SDI) cell in the firm. He left Lovelock & Lewes in 1999 and set up pss IT Services He specialises in the areas of Software development and Implementation, both client server (Oracle 8i, SQL Server 7.0) and web based (MS ASP, JAVA, .NET), Lotus Notes Implementation, pre/post implementation review of ERP packages viz . Man Man, SAP etc., controls engineering, doing facility management for foreign banks and other multinationals, e-security and strategy planning   Piyali Basu Director   Director is a Bachelor of Commerce from Calcutta University, India, an Associate Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ACA) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (USA). Following the qualification as a Chartered Accountant, Piyali joined the Calcutta office of Lovelock & Lewes as a qualified assistant in 1989 and became a Senior Manager in 1996. Piyali was in general audit till 1993 after which she joined the Computer Assurance Services group of Lovelock & Lewes . Piyali has specialised in the area of Control Engineering, Quality Assurance, Pre/Post implementation review particularly in the areas of controls and security, Lotus Notes implementation. She also specialises in the areas of Lotus Notes Implementation and application development. She left Lovelock & Lewes in 1999 and joined Syamal Nayak to set up pss IT Services.   Swarnendu Chaudhury Director   Bachelor of Commerce Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (FCA). Key Experience : Following the qualification as a Chartered Accountant, Swarnendu joined the Calcutta office of Lovelock & Lewes as a qualified assistant in 1991 and became a Manager in 1996. Swarnendu, was in general audit dealing with statutory, tax and internal audits and various special assignments of a large number of multinational clients including ITC Limited, GEC Alsthom, ICI Limited and Britannia Industries Limited. Swarnendu was also involved in the systems review and documentation of user manual of ITC Limited. He left Lovelock & Lewes in 2000 and joined Syamal Nayak in pss IT Services.     Indrajit Ghosh Senior Consultant   15 years of strong marketing experience in India and international market. Demonstrated functional and management experience in retail sales, channel sales and outbound logistics with leading Indian and international Consumer Durable, FMCG,IT companies. Have held senior position in Philips Thomson and Konka China. MBA from IISWBM KOLKATA in India and a results-driven, highly motivated professional with proven experience. Demonstrated outstanding planning, execution and monitoring skills, success in strategic planning, creative problem solving, and implementing solutions. Diverse business exposure and operated at various levels in commercial environment. Excellent knowledge of the business processes prevailing in Western Europe, China, Japan and North America. Have wide business contacts within these areas. Hugely successful in international marketing of and forming successful joint ventures and promoting India’s growth story abroad. Successfully completed a telecom software development project in Japan. Member European Union SME development forum.
